Ayurvedic medicines and supplements
Most persons are given prescriptions for consumption of ayurvedic medicines or dietary supplements as part of the intervention. They may also be prescribed oils for application on the body, head or other affected parts. The main advantages of our medicines are as below.
Manufactured at our own manufacturing facility
The Ayurvedic medicines that are prescribed to the patients comprise of classical formulations as described in the text books of Ayurveda and proprietary formulation developed by us over the 80 years of experience. The products are manufactured in our own manufacturing unit with GMP (Good manufacturing practices) certification. The products are manufactured using high quality raw materials sourced from the most authentic sources and tested for quality in our state-of-the-art quality control & research laboratory. The process is fully documented and the in process and finished products are again subjected to stringent quality tests before they are released.
We have through our R&D efforts, developed unique products that are trendsetters in the industry. Kashayams- aqueous extracts which form the most commonly prescribed group of products are very bitter and difficult to consume. We have converted the most of them into tablet form making it convenient for people to consume and for those who are on the move to carry.
No heavy metal toxicity issues
At AVN we do not manufacture any product with heavy metal contents and our products are regularly tested in house and in third party facilities for compliance with WHO’s recommended Heavy metal contamination limits and are always compliant with the norms.
Excellent safety profile
The best point about the products used by us is the safety associated with the use of these products. So while most of our products are mild in nature they are very good for long term use because of their excellent safety profiles. Though they are called Ayurvedic medicines in India they are called Nutraceuticals or as herbal supplements in a global perspective because of their excellent safety profile.
